So, I've been a huge fan of SLASH/dance's Frame of Mind video for a very long time. I can honestly say that it is one of THE most inspiring WoW machinimas I've ever seen. If you haven't seen that one, it is a MUST SEE...

But I have not been a very good SLASH/dance fan! D: I didn't realize that they made even more machinima-ey goodness 'til my friend, Baheena, posted Yesterday's News on her Facebook feed! Thanks, Baheena!

Big plans for this weekend! Nuku is going up to visit his cousin and will be coming home with a new PC. His cousin is a computer tech./consultant, and he offered to put together a decent computer for me. It's not going to be top of the line, but it will be WAY faster than 2.2GHz, possibly triple if not quad core, and it will meet the only requirement I have for this machine: to be able to run WoW at full settings. I don't really play any other game, and we can't be spending a whole lot of money, so we figured that was a reasonable desire for our budget. No Farcry2 rig here, buuut I ain't cryin. ^_^

EDIT 03/20/2010 12:26AM: My love corrected me in a comment. But it's worth adding to the original post. Apparently I WILL be able to play FarCry2 at max settings. LOL. I obviously dunno anything about this stuff... ^_^

Changed my "Band Name"

Hey ppl, if you've linked my Soundclick.com "artist" page anywhere, I changed my band name from "Ember Isolte" to "Girls Do Play WoW", so the url is no longer http://www.soundclick.com/emberisolte, it is now http://www.soundclick.com/GirlsDoPlayWoW. Sorry for the inconvenience, I just decided to rebrand myself early on and change the name to something more.. generic. =)

*Whispers* I really wanted to change the name to make it easier for me to come up with some kind of logo/memorable brand. You know, I was really inspired by PvPGurl, WoPairs, RavenSylphe, and all these other artists who have a certain look and feel, but for the life of me, I couldn't think of a good generic name... Even though it was staring me in the face on my blog!! So, I'm running with it. My lead singer is definitely always gonna be Isolte, but maybe with this new name I can work my other toons in as band members. ^_^

EDIT Fri. March 12, 2010. 6:48AM: - Deleted. Found out Simplaris doesn't do auto pinging for blogger.com blogs. I can get the same functionality from Facebook's included "Notes" tab. I just want to find an app that posts on my Wall when I update this blog. *Keeps searching*

Eiffel 65's Album "Europop" = Draenei

Just having a little fun relating Eiffel 65's album "Europop" to all things Draenei.

1. "Blue (Da Ba Dee)" – Self explanatory
2. "Too Much of Heaven" – C'mon. They're from outer space.
3. "Dub in Life" – I dunno what this song is actually about.. but it's a good song, so just pretend it applies.
4. "Living in a Bubble (feat. Papa Winnie)" – Draenei Paladins.
5. "Move Your Body" – Female Draenei Dance. 'Nuff said.
6. "My Console" – I know it's about PLAYSTATION, but the track title makes me think of spaceship control center.
7. "Your Clown" – Male Draenei /silly.
8. "Another Race" – *sings* "It's another race from outer space.." Draenei [period].
9. "The Edge" – Their plight on Draenor.
10. "Now Is Forever" – Draenei life on Azeroth.
11. "Silicon World" – Draenic Technology?
12. "Europop" – Another general, dancey song that can apply to any WoW race, so just pretend it applies.
13. "Hyperlink (Deep Down)" – What happened to the Exodar.
14. "Blue (Da Ba Dee)" (extended mix) – Self explanatory.

The plushie is even cuter than I thought it would be! *snuggles it* I don't really want the gryphon because the head just looks kinda... big. Too dopey looking. I dunno. Maybe I'll take a picture of it later to post here. For now, me go nap and snuggle my wittle wind rider cubby wubby.

EDIT 8:00pm:
Silly Photobucket.com. The buttons finally look the way I want them to, but I had to edit them after uploading, so I re-uploaded them after deleting...whew. So, they look a little screwy now but as soon as photobucket catches up with me, I think they'll be all better. ^_^

Also, I do all my designy work on my Mac, so my blog is best viewed *drun roll please* ...on a Mac! (Tested in Safari 4.0.4, Firefox 3.5.7, and Chrome 5.0.307.110). Also tested in the most recent versions of Firefox and Internet Explorer for WindowsXP and Vista... though I really do believe it just looks better on a Mac. Lol. Fonts just don't look the same on a PC as they do on a Mac =/. Oh well. I try my best to make it all pretty for you PC users since most of you are! XD
