I found a pleasant surprise in my inventory when Cata hit. This particular item has been in my bags since forever ago... probably when Isolte was around level 15 or so from Deadmines (and you might just think this is really stupid) but I'm really happy about this so I decided to express my little sliver of happiness with you. ^_^

Ok, so.. Just for fun, I've always wanted that rare quality mining pick, the [Digmaster 5000] (a rare drop in Uldaman,) just for the simple fact that it was the only blue mining pick in the game that "Also serves as a mining pick." To my surprise, my [Miner's Revenge] has been upgraded from a green to a blue having been changed to "No longer available" as a drop in the game.

Apparently, the [Cold Iron Pick] was also upgraded from green to blue and it drops from Hogger in the new Stockades now. ^_^ So, there are now 3 rare mining picks, only 2 of which still drop in-game..

Is it dumb that I feel special-er for having this pick instead of the one I've checked the AH for and farmed for years?!?! I think not. ^_^ *giggles* Yes, it's the little things in life... *smiles contently*

My Little Pony

Yes, I am also a proud owner of the new mount, [Celestial Steed]. My sweetheart waited almost 3 hours in the Blizzard store queue yesterday just to get me the pony I never thought I'd have. (When I first saw the model in a post on MMO-Champion, I figured it would be a new boss drop in Cataclysm or something. And I don't raid much. =/) But yay for new flair!

Lookie what I got in my [Bag of Fishing Treasures] today! ^_^ I really have no more use for the [Mastercraft Kalu'ak Fishing Pole] since the [Jeweled Fishing Pole] has the same +30 to Fishing, shammies have [Water Breathing], and the jeweled pole is just WAY prettier.

Upgradez and New Guild

Been running a lot more heroics than I though I would be. Joined a new guild (Driven) that's starting back up again from falling apart not too long ago. I'm kinda iffy on how much I'll like this. I joined with the hopes of finally being in a raiding guild with mature players since the GM is really picky about who he invites to the guild, but I'm afraid we won't be raiding anytime soon as a result... there's only like 5 active players in the guild currently... Driven used to be in the top 3 rading guilds on our server when WotLK came out, and that's another thing I'm nervous about. Usually, in my experience, it is that mindset (of being a top rading guild) that attracts the assholes and wannabes. All I really want is to be in a guild with reliable, respectable players , even if that means we only do 10-mans. Heck, I don't even care if we do 10-mans, we can do 5's.. I'm happy with the gear I have currently because I can do my dailies with ease. So, really, I'm just hoping the guild turns out to be a good group of PEOPLE. =/
