For the majority of my sleeping life, I have had incredibly vivid dreams ever since I can remember. I've always wanted to start a dream journal, but I've always seemed to have lost the energy to write as soon as I got out of bed or I just simply didn't have the time. When I was in college, I had a Psychology assignment to log my dreams (if any) every day for an entire week. After that project, the desire to start a dream journal really kicked in, but it just never stuck. I have a physical notebook that is a sort of diary but I rarely write in it; it has entries that are weeks, months, and even a year in between and a handful of them mention parts of dreams I had.
Well, anyway, I said all that because I don't know if this will become a regular thing on this blog. It is a pretty personal topic, but I had a dream last night that I feel comfortable sharing. I am no writer, but maybe sharing the details of my dreams will help me to become a better one?

[LIVE Highlight] Throw Back Thursday - A Link To The Past

Started streaming again and made some noob streamer mistakes, but I thought this clip was highlight-worthy. The black area to the left was supposed to be the livestream chat room, but my monitor fell asleep. *Turns off power save function* >_< And my audio delay wasn't set right, so my voice is slightly ahead of the game audio! But that'll all be fixed before the next live stream! :3

Happiness, damn it!

After a ton of thinking (and pining over my inactive WoW subscription) I decided to reactivate it. Although money is still scarce and the job hunt still depressingly unfruitful, the kindness of friends and even some strangers recently has gotten me to realize some things about the way I've been living my life. This last year in particular, I've come down on myself way too hard about unemployment, weight gain, and a slough of other things so much so that I stopped doing the things that I love because I began to see them as a waste of time since they weren't making me any money or getting me back in shape. The lack of games, singing, and generally fun things I used to enjoy has just plunged myself deeper into depression, away from the people that I love, and further away from all my life goals.
I'm not sure if I have what it takes right now to be a full-time live-streamer or YouTube content creator and make a living off of gaming, but I am partnered on Twitch and YouTube. The prospect of making a few dollars while playing WoW is better than no WoW and no income at all, right? *sigh* We'll see how this goes. My self confidence has plummeted even more than I ever thought it could over this past year in general (with randomly few and far between spurts of positivity), but I really do believe that I am on my way to recovering now.
As a tiny step forward, I took some time to redesign the header on this blog and I am a lot happier with it. (The header graphic is no longer static, and the old advertisement-looking slider has become the new header) :3 Hopefully, just looking at it will remind me of what I used to love about why I got involved in the WoW community to begin with.

Hey people! I'm not dead I swear! I just [unlike the title of my blog] have not been playing WoW lately. XD I miss it so much though and thanks to my friend Gavin on Twitter I got to pop online and hang out in Azeroth for a short while last month. Money has been quite tight for me as of late and my WoW subscription was a necessary budget cut. Wish me luck in life so that I may come back soon! Thanks!

What A Mess, Google!

Oh Google, how I hate thee. Let me count the ways... Just kidding. I don't hate Google, but I have been extremely unhappy with the way they run things lately. You all probably know by now about how Google is forcing YouTube users to attach a Google Plus account if they want to be able to leave comments on videos. Personally, I am all for integration! The idea of putting my Google Plus account to use made me very happy to know that I'd be able to broaden my audience to those people who choose to use Google Plus rather than Facebook for example. :3 The one thing I am not all for is when integration ends up f*cking things up. XD
