Upgradez

Patch 3.3.2

Big plans for this weekend! Nuku is going up to visit his cousin and will be coming home with a new PC. His cousin is a computer tech./consultant, and he offered to put together a decent computer for me. It's not going to be top of the line, but it will be WAY faster than 2.2GHz, possibly triple if not quad core, and it will meet the only requirement I have for this machine: to be able to run WoW at full settings. I don't really play any other game, and we can't be spending a whole lot of money, so we figured that was a reasonable desire for our budget. No Farcry2 rig here, buuut I ain't cryin. ^_^

EDIT 03/20/2010 12:26AM: My love corrected me in a comment. But it's worth adding to the original post. Apparently I WILL be able to play FarCry2 at max settings. LOL. I obviously dunno anything about this stuff... ^_^

Here's what my sugar daddy..*cough* I mean, my husband is building for me today:
-Radeon HD 5770 GPU
-GIGABYTE GA-MA785G-UD3H Motherboard
-4GB Super Talent DDR3 Ram
-AMD Phenom II X3 CPU AMD Athlon II X4
-640GB Western Digital HD
-650W COOLER MASTER Single +12V Rail Power Supply
-COOLER MASTER Elite RC-334-KKN1-GP Case

  1. Take pictures of your new baby when you get her! I love computer upgrades. <3

Technical bit of help: If you run WoW at full settings, which is gorgeous, and fly out of Dalaran into Icecrown it may cause WoW to crash.
